The CPR for Acupuncturists – When Seconds Matter course covers how, when and why one should use CPR. It covers the American Heart Association guidelines for CPR and when it should be performed. We will discuss what CPR does to an unconscious person, the CAB process, circulation and chest compressions, how to clear the airway, breathing for the victim, as well as how to use an AED. We will also discuss CPR for a child or an infant as well as what to do when the victim has had a heart attack.
