This is a 15 PDAs NCBAHM approved course that deals with the basics of pulse diagnosis. We discuss the jing mai and the mai qi, pulse positions and diagnosis methods, the normal pulses of the five organs and their various qualities, how to use the principal pulses to differentiate: floating, sinking, slow and rapid, the types of pulses, pulses and their related disorders, the pulse in complicated disorders, the pulse in pregnancy and the pulse of infants, diagnosing diseases of the eight curious/extraordinary channels, the exhausted pulses of zang fu and yin and yang, the twenty-seven pulse states.
