Course deals with treating hearing loss with acupuncture and is approved for 15 PDAs. We discuss factors that cause hearing loss, including infections during pregnancy, how it occurs, differences in deafness and hearing loss, speech perception, hearing standards, signs and symptoms, secondary symptoms, complications such as cognitive decline, falls, depression, spoken language ability, causes, presbycusis, conditions that increase its risk, noise induced hearing loss NIHL, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, medications that cause it, ear anatomy, pathophysiology, diagnosis, prevention, management. Also, TCM approach with etiology, differentiation, treatment and method, patterns with clinical signs, tongue and pulse signs, treatment goals, herbal formulas, body and ear points with moxa methods.
