This is a 15 PDAs course that deals with treating toothache with acupuncture. We discuss the causes of toothache, oral hygiene, tooth anatomy, pulpal toothache, causes of pulpitis, reversible and irreversible pulpitis, dentin hypersensitivity, apical periodontitis, food impaction, periodontal abscesses, acute necrotizing ulcerative gingivitis, pericoronitis, occlusal trauma, alveolar osteitis, dental trauma and cracked tooth syndrome, periodontic-endodontic lesion, non-dental causes, pathophysiology, diagnosis, symptoms, examination, investigation, differential diagnoses, prevention, management, pulpitis and its sequalae, dental abscesses, antibiotics, prognosis. Also, TCM approach with etiology, differentiation, treatment and method, patterns with clinical signs, tongue and pulse signs, treatment goals, herbal formulas, body and ear points with moxa methods.
