This course earns 5 NCBAHM PDAs teaches the usefulness of Chinese Medical Herbs which have been in use for thousands of years to cure various types of ailments. Chinese Herbology is used in close conjunction with Acupuncture, and many Acupuncturists prescribe Chinese herbs in addition to treatment. We will explore a brief history of herbs in this course, and see which herbs are the most commonly used today.
We will also study the origins of Chinese Herbology, as well as learn about the pioneering work of the China’s foremost Herbologists, their techniques and methods. We will learn about the details of Herbal Prescriptions and preparation techniques and other highly important information about the power of Chinese Herbs.
