SIFENG M-UE-9 FOUR SEAMS

Location: On the palmer surface of the hand, at the midpoints of the transverse creases of the proximal interphalangeal joints of the index, middle, ring and little fingers.

In most patients the two creases will be located at the proximal interphalangeal joints. In this instance, Sifeng M-UE-9 is found on the crease which is more prominent on flexion of these joints.

Needling: Prick to bleed, or prick and squeeze until a yellow-white liquid presents.

Actions: Strengthens the Spleen and disperses accumulation.

Signs and symptoms: Childhood nutritional impairment, childhood accumulation disorder, childhood diarrhea, whooping cough.
