WEIGUANXIASHU M-BW-12 STOMACH CONTROLLER LOWER SHU

Location: 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the eighth thoracic vertebra T8.

Find it at the visible highest point of the paraspinal muscles.

Needling: Oblique insertion towards the spine, 0.5 to 1 cun, or transverse-oblique insertion 1 to 1.5 cun.

Warning: Perpendicular needling or oblique needling away from the spine includes a sizable danger of triggering a pneumothorax.

Actions: Expels heat and produces fluid.

Signs and symptoms: Wasting and thirsting disorder, dry throat, pain of the chest and lateral costal region, epigastric pain, vomiting.
